I can't tell you how often I would stand around in my garage and marvel at all the wasted space from floor to ceiling. It seemed like the whole family had a ton of stuff we hardly ever used but just didn't want to throw away. Know what I mean? Well, I came up with an approach that solved both problems. I designed and built a three-level configuration of enclosed cabinets, open shelving, and a workbench which maximized the limited storage space in my garage. The photos below are from a completed project for a family in Fountain, Colorado who had a three-car garage with lots of stuff and no place but the floor to put it. Each enclosed cabinet by the ceiling is 2 feet deep, 3 feet high, and nearly 4 feet across. But I custom build them according to what you need to store. In the photo showing the workbench, I framed in a large piece of peg-board for hanging hand tools. You choose the material, the dimensions, and the configuration that you want. I love what I do and what I put up, stays up. So, when you make your selection, you get my level best!
